In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of
the hong kong special administrative region ( HKSAR ) the Central Peopleβs Goverment
bestowed on the HKSAR a pair of young giant pandas.
They arrived in Hong kong on April 26th 2007 and Ocean Park is entrusted to take care of them.

The Sichua earthquake that happen in 2008 really affect the panda,
coz in Sichua has a Wolong Giant Panda Reserve Center.
that center is a home to 86 giant panda.
Thank god all 86 giant panda has survive the Earthquake.
